with humility and hard work, we have been duly blessed

As we worked hard to get new investigators this week, the Lord truly put His prepared children in our path, and even our existing investigators received incredible blessings as well. To start was a man Isaias, actually a reference of a recently baptized convert. When we arrived at his home, he was super interested about the church and about how the church helps her members.Specifically he was interested how the Church could help him with marriage. Well boy, can we help with that!

Another new investigator named João turned into quite the surprise this week. He is a brilliant, rich investigator of what seems to be all religions. He also happens to be neighbors to a great member family Felix and Rita Dimene. We brought Felix to our first lesson with him, and Felix explained the First Vision in a way that blew my mind. The Spirit was palpable. We had been super anxious for this lesson all week and it hit its climax when Elder Bourne invited him to be baptized. After the longest wait of our lives…he gladly accepted.

Additionally we surpassed our goal of 250 people at church (259). Just a few weeks ago we thought that was impossible, but with humility and hard work, we have been duly blessed. Our investigators who have had problems with docs, with their faith have found miraculous ways to get these docs. All around the Lord’s hand was definitely present in the work this week.

Some other highlights… Had a great division (split) with Elder Williams this week. We ordered some super spicy Indian food (delivered for free!) I made some amazing brownies! Next week is transfers!

Thank you, and Love!
